Dennis Edwin Summers, age 76, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  Mr. Summers was born January 28, 1944 to the late Luther Sidney and Williadean Cox Summers in Carroll County, Virginia.

He is survived by his wife Alice Weddle Summers of the home; daughter Linda Denise Summers Sestrick of Miami,  Florida; son and daughter-in-law Edwin Scott & Michele Summers of Roanoke; granddaughter Olivia Kathryn Summers; sister and brotherin-law Barbara Summers McBride and Frank of Galax; two nieces and one nephew.

The funeral service will be held Saturday November 14, 2020 in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Terri Gregory officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Cranberry.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 2:00 PM.
