Dementria Pauline Phipps known as Polly Phipps age 63 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at her home.

Polly was born in Galax, Virginia on January 4, 1958 to Harold G. and Edna Isom Smith.

She is survived by her husband Larry Phipps of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Brandon and Rebekah Phipps of Woodlawn, Virginia; grandson Lane Phipps; sister and brother-in-law Diane and Vaught Hutchins; brother and sister-in-law Mike and Linda Kay Smith all of Woodlawn, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Ramsey Embry officiating. Burial will follow in the Crooked Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
