Delores Linda Viar Brewer age 71 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Delores was born in Fries, Virginia on July 18, 1949 to Everett Lee and Ruby Lee Clyburn Viar.

She is survived by a granddaughter Melody Tate of Galax, Virginia; grandson Phillip Tate, Jr. of Woodlawn, Virginia; one great-grandson Phillip Owen Medley; brother Everett Viar of Waxahachie, Texas; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Sam Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vale Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Mask and social distancing will be required for the funeral service and burial.
