Dell Farmer age 81 of Galax, Virginia passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2006 at N.C. Baptist Hospital. She was born on October 1, 1924 in North Carolina to the late Jones and Alice Caudill Eller. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Farmer and a daughter, Linda Darlene Farmer, four sisters and one brother. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn & Dennis Cook of Lawrenceville, Georgia; Kathy& Bill Berger of Yuma, Arizona; and Andrea and Danny Smith of Galax, Va; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren also survive as well as two sisters, Josephine Paisley of Havre de Grace, Maryland and Mae Hale of Mouth of Wilson, Va.. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at 11:00 AM in Snow Hill Church with Rev. Ernie Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from seven until nine at Snow Hill Church.
