Dela Elaine Wright, 83, of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the Grayson Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Mrs. Wright was born in Kentucky on August 13, 1935 to Alfred and Mary Wright Freeman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clifford W. Wright.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Janice and Deke Bowers of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Kenneth and Patricia Wright of Galax, Virginia; Glenn and Brenda Wright of Hillsville, Virginia; Otis Ray and Tammy of Woodlawn, Virginia; and Scott Wright of Woodlawn, Virginia. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews, and special friends Bruce and Carol Akers. The family would like to express thanks to the staff at the Grayson Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

The graveside service will be held Monday at 3:00 PM at Crooked Creek Cemetery in Woodlawn, Virginia with David Moore officiating. There will be no visitation.
