Deborah June Head age 58 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the home of her sister.

Deborah was born in Mann, West Virginia on April 15, 1960 to Robert Lee and Helen Payne Head. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Myrna Loy Sexton and Roberta  Lee Cook and a brother Oscar Odell Head.

She is survived by one daughter Brandia Puckett of Blacksburg, Virginia; two step-children Crystal Boyd of Radford, Virginia and Ricky Boyd of West Virginia; sisters and brothers-in- law Anita and Richard Landreth of Pulaski, Virginia; Jenny and Randy Holderfield of Galax, Virginia; brother Robbie Head of Fairlawn, Virginia; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; special friend Teresa Holderfield.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 3:30 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Carroll Lineberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Hebron Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:30 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
