Deborah Sue Bobbitt better known as Sue Bobbitt age 66 of Independence, Virginia passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at her home.

Sue was born on March 9, 1954 in Jefferson. North Carolina to Harold and Virginia Powers Billings.

She is survived by her wonderful, loving, and hard working husband Robert Wayne (Bo) Bobbitt of Independence, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Connie and Tiger Alley of Galax, Virginia; son Christopher Honeycutt; four step-children whom she loved liked her own Robin (Erica) Bobbitt; Patricia  (Sissy) Bowen; Anthony Bobbitt all of Independence, Virginia and Christopher Bobbitt of Dugspur, Virginia;  sisters and brothers-in-law Carol and Tommy Sumner of Galax, Virginia; ; Billy & Joe Teti of Pennsylvania;  Sherry and Curtis Johnson of Independence, Virginia; Mary Wilkie of Elk Creek, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Harold (Junior) and Marie Billings of Independence, Virginia; James (Jimmy) and Fran Billings of Maryland; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special granddaughter and caregiver Kayla Nicole Easter; special friends Roger and Teresa Roberts; Lee and Carrie Roberts; Steven McMillon.

A graveside service will be held Monday at 2:00 PM in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Pastor David Osborne officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Mask and Social Distancing will be required for the graveside service.
