Dean Lewis Gwyn age 63 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Dean was born in Galax, Virginia on July 30, 1954 to James Winston and Gretchen Rose Tucker Gwyn.

He proudly served his country in the US Army.

He is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law Tommy and Christine Gwyn of Wisconsin; Douglas and Charity Gwyn of Sparta, North Carolina; host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday May 12, 2018 at 1:30 PM in the Mt. Zion Holiness Church with Douglas Gwyn officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the church.
