David Winton Patton age 50 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the home of his nephew.

David was born in Galax, Virginia on August 13, 1968 to Claude and Brenda McBride Patton.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Patton; two daughters Shannon Crowder and Kyndel Patton all of Galax, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Donna and Terry Long of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina; three grandchildren Cassie Jones; Cadence Jones and Chessa Jones; nephew and wife Jeremy and Michele Woods of Galax, Virginia.

A graveside service will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the McKenzie Cemetery with Pastor David Payne officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
