David Harlow Hill age 64 of Fries, Virginia passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.

David was born on June 13, 1960 in Fries, Virginia to Edgar Phipps and Leona Sue Wright Hill. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a sister Earlene Hill and a brother Ralph Hill.

He is survived by his wife Faye Cox Hill of Fries, Virginia; children and spouses Alisa and Jarret White of Surf City, North Carolina; Zack and Alyssa Hill of Galax, Virginia; Stephanie and Gerald Goad of Hillsville, Virginia; Kristina and Mike Osborne of Roanoke, Virginia; Michael Goins and Jess Boyd of Raleigh, North Carolina; siblings and spouses Doug and Kathy Hill of Ohio; Darlene and Larry Sawyers; Mary and Mark Williams; Theresa and Freddie Tomlinson all of Fries, Virginia; seven grandchildren Dawson Spangler; Devynn Spangler; Draden Spangler; Brylee Goins; Marley Goins; Aiden White and Beckett Hill; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Darrin Lambert and the Rev. Matt Linkous officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
