David Darrell Carico age 68 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday December 25, 2023 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

David was born in Carroll County, Virginia on October 11, 1955 to Arthur Wayne Carico and Patsy Thompson Carico Rowe.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Sherry and Tony Bunn of Fancy Gap, Virginia; sons and daughter-in-law David and Trina Carico ; Bobby (BJ) Carico all of Galax, Virginia; four grandchildren Dillon Bunn; Austin Carico; Tyler Carico and Morgan Carico; brother and sister-in-law Bill and Virginia Carico.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. The body will be cremated and there will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the Galax Carroll Grayson Animal Shelter.
