David Allen Bowen age 44 of Independence, Virginia passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at his home.
David was born on June 21, 1968 in Maryland to David Allen and Mary Lou West Bowen.
He is survived by his wife Patricia G. Bowen; son David Shawn Bowen; step-daughter Kayla Nicole Easter all of Independence, Virginia; brother Charlie Harris of Littleton, North Carolina; grandmother Dorothy West of West Jefferson, North Carolina; mother-in-law and spouse Doris and Larry Lineberry; father-in-law and spouse Bo and Sue Bobbitt all of Independence, Virginia; brothers-in-law and spouses Anthony Bobbitt, Robin and Erica Bobbitt all of Independence, Virginia; Chris and Ashley Bobbitt of Galax, Virginia; several aunts and uncles; several nieces and nephews; special friend Mark Martin of Independence, Virginia.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Rev. Roger and Trish Johnson and Rev. Danny Tolley officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
