David Allen Arnold, age 57, of Fries, VA died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA.
Mr. Arnold was born Aug. 29, 1954 in Grayson County, VA to Marvin L., Sr. and Edna Sutherland Arnold. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Marvin Arnold, Jr.
He is survived by sisters, Linda Vaughn and Bonita Arnold, both of Galax, VA and Anne Didio, Smithfield, VA; brother, Terry Arnold, Sr., Orchard Gap, VA and a sister-in-law: Carol Anne Arnold also of Galax, VA.
The funeral service will be held Monday, Sept. 5, 2011 in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel, Galax, VA at 7:00 PM. Mr. Arnold will be buried in the Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until time for the funeral service Monday at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
