Darrell Paige Durham age 85 of Marion, Virginia and formerly of Fries, Virginia passed away Friday June 2, 2023 at the home of his daughter.

Mr. Durham was born on August 27, 1937 in Virginia to Claude and Maretha Shupe Durham.

He is survived by three sons Jon Durham of Wytheville, Virginia; Mark Durham and Jason Durham both of Galax, Virginia; two daughters and son-in-law Pam and Richard Sutphin of Spartanburg, South Carolina; Amanda Kinder of Marion, Virginia; sister Patsy Durham Monroe of Martinsville, Virginia; eight grandchildren Darah Sutphin Patterson; Tori Sutphin Keefer; Channing Jones; Marleigh Pennington; Matthew Durham; Ava Durham; Luke Whitaker; Austin Weatherman;  ten great-grandchildren and several special nieces and several nephews.

Darrell was a person who could do everything, make it look easy, and finish with his signature chuckle!

A graveside service will be held Monday at 2:00 PM in the Providence Cemetery with Donald White officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
