Danny Ray Robinson's Obituary
Danny Ray Joe Robinson, 52, passed away Tuesday August 4, 2009 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington, NC. He was born August 28, 1956 in Grayson County to Bertie Isom Robinson and Johnnie W. Robinson, Sr.
He is survived by sister Christine Robinson Shupe, five brothers Johnnie W. Robinson, Jr. of Pulaski, George, Rudolph, Mitchell, and Ricky Robinson all of Galax; long time friend Jeffrey Copeland of Wilmington, NC; two nieces, one nephew, three great nieces, and one great nephew.
The family will receive friends Wednesday August 5, 2009 from 6 until 8 pm at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home in Galax. A graveside service will be held Thursday August 6, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Quesenberry Cemetery in Carroll County, Virginia with Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating.
The family says flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to the Joy Ranch for Children or the American Cancer Society.
