Danny Ray Harrison age 69 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital.
Danny was born In Gastonia, North Carolina on March 9, 1947 to Owen and Bonnie Dover Harrison.
He proudly served his country in the US Air Force.
He is survived by his wife Jane Harrison of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Susan and Bryan Kitzrow of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; son and daughter-in-law Daniel and Ruth Harrison; step-son Jeremiah Johnson all of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brother-in-law Teena Harrison of West Palm Beach, Florida; Annette and Mark Smith of Walnut Cove, North Carolina; brother and sister-in-law Tony and Diane Harrison of Fancy Gap, Virginia; ten grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be led by his son Rev. Daniel Harrison on January 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Fairlawn Church of Christ.
