Daniel Roger Shinault age 53 of Fries, Virginia passed away Thursday July 8, 2021 at his home.

Daniel was born on August 10, 1967 in Surry County, North Carolina to Roger Lee and Gladys Faye Richmond Shinault. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Darren Shinault and two nephews Chris Coleman and Joey Mabe.

He is survived by  his wife Trisha Lynn Shinault of Fries, Virginia; children and spouse Jessica and Alex Sauceda of Maryland; Tia Brown of Fries, Virginia; Daniel Lee Shinault of Maryland and Byron Shinault of Hawaii;  three grandchildren Madison Shinault; Jaiden Sauceda and James Sauceda; siblings and spouses Wayne and Christie Coleman; Randy and Mitzi Shinault all of Fries Virginia; Richard Shinault; Carol Vaughan both of Galax, Virginia; three nieces Kendra, Taylor and Erin Shinault; nephew Travis Mabe.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Hope Cemetery with Elmo Moore officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
