Daniel N. Morehead's Obituary
Daniel N. Morehead age 91 of Lambsburg, Virginia passed away Friday, January l, 2016 at his home.
Mr. Morehead was born in Tazewell, Virginia on June 8, 1924 to John Newton and Allie Lee Wimmer Morehead. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters Elizabeth Smith and Nancy Tayloe and a brother Charles Morehead.
He is survived by his wife Janice Bundy Morehead of Lambsburg, Virginia; sons Ronald E. Morehead of Stoneville, North Carolina; Randall C. Morehead of Lambsburg, Virginia; grandchildren Michelle Johnson and Timothy Morehead; great-grandchildren Chastity Johnson and Hannah Johnson; sister Virginia Setchel of Roanoke, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law William and Georgia Morehead of Tazewell, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 11:30 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. James Cowley officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
