Daniel Clyburn age 72 of Fries, Virginia passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Mr. Clyburn was born on March 15, 1938 in Grayson County, Virginia to Grover Cleveland and Flora Phibbs Clyburn. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter Amber Clyburn and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Patsy Ramey Clyburn; sons and daughters-in-law Perry and Becky Clyburn; Jeffrey and Lisa Clyburn all of Fries, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Ann and Jeffery Comer of King, North Carolina; granddaughters and spouses Crystal Vaughan of Cleveland, Tennessee; India and Chad Taylor; Ashley and Daniel Alderman; Faith Clyburn all of Fries, Virginia and Diana Comer of King, North Carolina; sister Lessie Taylor and brother Jerry Clyburn both of Fries, Virginia; a special little girl Amber Moore; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 8:00 PM at the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church. The family will receive friends from six until time for the service Thursday night at the church. The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to the local Diabetes Association.
