Daniel Brendle, age 80, of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday February 7, 2026 in Galax Nursing and Rehab.

Daniel was born on July 9, 1945 in Galax, Virginia to the late Daniel and Della Rakes Brendle. He was also preceded in death by his sister Flora Diana Edwards.

He is survived by his daughter and fiancé Tina Brendle and Michael Tate of Lowgap; sisters Donna Fargis of Greensboro and Doris Edwards of Sparta; grandchildren Blake Collins and fiancé Hannah Hall of Boonville and Lillie Cullop of Lowgap; special friends Marie Yates and husband Alton Yates of Galax, Todd Eiklor of Meadows of Dan, Bernie Primm, Tina Harper Crowder and many more special friends; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The celebration of life will be held at a later date
