Dana Marie Underwood age 52 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday September 17, 2020 at her home.
Dana was born in Galax, Virginia on November 5, 1967.
She is survived her companion Jim Willis; children Sarah Leagans; Stephen Leagans (Rebecca Barrett) and James Allen Leagans all of Galax, Virginia; sisters Ann Lozier of Ararat, Virginia; Shirley Hale of Wytheville, Virginia; Joyce Marie Burris of Galax, Virginia; brother Edsel Hale, Jr. of Ivanhoe, Virginia; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be Thursday at 4:00 PM in the Vaugha-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Donald White officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 3:00 PM until time for the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
