Dallas Ford Lawson age 67 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Wednesday October 18, 2017 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Dallas was born in Pulaski, Virginia on April 1, 1950 to Robert Ford and Zollie Columbus Leonard Lawson.

He proudly served his country in the US Marines.

In addition to his father R.F. Lawson, he is survived by his wife of 48 years Helen Lineberry Lawson; son and daughter-in-law Martin Ford and Jennifer Lawson all of Woodlawn, Virginia; three grandchildren Zakary Lawson; Jenna Lawson and Nikolas Lawson; great-grandchild Rey Castillo; sister Joan Gosnell of Hickory, North Carolina.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Carroll Lineberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Walden Lineberry Cemetery with Military Rites by the Hillsville VFW Post 1115. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
