Dale Eugene Lundy age 74 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 in the Galax Health and Rehab Center.

Dale was born on October 12, 1943 in Carroll County, Virginia to Howard Clinton and Vergie Robinson Lundy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant son Robert Dale Lundy and a brother Dixie Lundy.

He is survived by his wife Darlene Melton Lundy; daughter and son-in-law Dolores and Charles Lineberry; two grandchildren Cathryn Lineberry and Dylan Lineberry all of Woodlawn ,Virginia; ;  sister and brother-in-law Dreama and Jim Underwood of Fries, Virginia; sister-in-law Florida Lundy of Thomasville, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Billy Burnette and Sammy Burnette officiating. Burial will follow in the Robinson Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
