Cynthia Elizabeth Mabe Holmes age 47 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 at her home.
Cynthia was born in Martinsville, Virginia on May 28, 1966 to James Burton and Nellie Mae Burcham Mabe.
In addition to her mother Nellie Mae Mabe of Galax, Virginia she is survived by her husband Leroy Burton Holmes of Galax, Virginia; daughter and fiance' Casey Dawn Chambers and Jonathan Wayne McCoy of Galax, Virginia; daughter aned son-in-law Jessica Ann
and Jonathan Houchens of Zions Crossroads, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Zachary Lee and Sara Holmes of Keswick, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law James Burton and Cathy Mabe of Sparta, North Carolina; Jerome Anthony Mabe of Racine, Texas; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special family friends Willie Dewayne Smith; Catherine Justice; Sharon Sutphin and
Loretta Bowman.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 5:00 PM in the Snow Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernie Smith officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 PM until time for the service at the Snow Hill Baptist Church.
