Curtis Ray Spencer age 67 of Galax, Va. passed away Thursday at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, N.C.. He was born on January ll, 1939 in Grayson County, Va. to the late Lacy and Dovie Henderson Spencer. He is survived by his wife Joan Farmer Spencer of Galax, Va.; two daughters, Sandra Spencer & Bekcy Dunn; a son & daughter-in-law, Richard & Cynthia Dunn of Va. Beach, Va.; three sisters & brothers-in-law, Bonnie J. & John Ayers; Sue & Curtis Andrews and Joyce & Billy Bottomley all of Galax, Va.; one brother & sister-in-law, Steve & Susan Spencer of Galax, Va.; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 9th at 3:00 PM in Cliffview Church of God. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from seven until nine at the church.
