Curtis Teresa Burcham age 62 of State Road, North Carolina passed away Monday January 15, 2024 in the Northern Surry Hospital in Mt. Airy, North Carolina.

Teresa was born in Galax, Virginia on July 3, 1961, to Oatie and Shirley Horton Leath.

Teresa proudly served her country in the U S Army.

She is survived by her husband Ronald Burcham of State Road North Carolina; daughter and son-in-law Nicole and Derrick Atkins of Cana, Virginia; daughter and significant other Miranda Burcham and Jason Cregger of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; sons and daughter-in-law Jody and Amelia Burcham of Mt Airy North Carolina; Christopher Burcham of Cana, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Geneva and Tim Weatherman of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Timmy and Diane Leath of Woodlawn, Virginia; Sammy Leath of Galax, Virginia;  eight grandchildren Jagger Martin; Dalton Atkins; Damion Cregger; Issac Cregger; Elijah Cregger; Allison Hill; Alyssa Cregger; Tinsley Burcham;four  great-grandchildren Lilly Cregger; Eziekel Martin; Charlie Davis  and Wrenley Hill; several nieces and nephews; special friend and sister Donna Sumner.

The funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel.  The service will be followed with Military Rites by the Grayson VFW Post 7726 in the Monta Vista Cemetery.  Inurnment will be held at a later date at Monta Vista Cemetery.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
