Curtis Clyde Eastridge age 91 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mr. Eastridge was born in Carroll County, Virginia on September 24, 1932 to Joseph E and Rina Lou Edwards Eastridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Georgie Dickens Eastridge; five sisters Wilma Eastridge, Hazel Eastridge, Dorothy Mullinix, Lema Chappell and Geraldine Rippey; two brothers Gleason Eastridge and Ingram Eastridge.

He is survived by a son Steven Curtis Eastridge; sisters Shirley Patton and Wanda Hash; brother Wade Eastridge; Brothers-in law Charlie Rippey, J.C. Dickens and wife Peggy; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 25 at 11:00 in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Elder Pete Hawks officiating. Military rites and burial will follow at the Semones Cemetery Fancy Gap, VA   There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the Semones Cemetery Fund, 2962 Fancy Gap Highway, Hillsville, Virginia 24343
