Cristi Dawn Hounshell age 45 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday at her home.

Cristi was born in Princeton, West Virginia on April 12, 1979.

Cristi was preceded in death by  her daughter Briana Nicole Estep.

She is survived by the love of her life and soulmate Jason Towler; children Brian Allen Estep and Cody Wayne Estep; maternal grandmother Bertha Jean Pendergrass; siblings and spouses Crystal and Scotty Rankin; George and Hope Estep; Misty and Bobby Glasco; her mother Rosalie Frazier; other siblings Cory Runyon; Brittany Bowen and Bruce Bowen; several aunts and uncles; special aunt and uncle Diane and Dave Schmalenberger; several; nieces and nephews; sixteen cousins; Sharon Chaffin;John Duncan; special friends William Allen Estep; Jesus and Laurie Rivera; Mecca Dollinger.

The funeral service will be held  Friday at 2:30 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Jeff Johnson and Billy Towler officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
