Coy Winifred Frost, 95, of Galax, VA passed away Sunday, May 16 at the Waddell Nursing Home. Mr. Frost was born in Carroll County, Virginia November 8, 1914 to Braselton Bedsaul Frost and Cora Ann Patton Frost. In addition to his parents, Mr. Frost was preceded in death by his loving wife Matteline Jennings Frost.

Mr. Frost is survived by daughter and son-in-law: Shirley & Charles Smoot of Galax, sister-in-law: Rae Haas of Roanoke, VA; 2 nieces, 2 nephews and several cousins.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Fairlawn Church of Christ with Jim Thomas, Norman Weaver, and Ralph Sproles officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 pm at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
