Cora Mae Wooten's Obituary
Cora Mae Wooten age 80 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Wooten was born in Carroll County, Virginia on October 9, 1934 to Aros Walter and Vera Grace Robinson Alderman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Junior Wooten; son Larry Douglas Wooten and sister Eula Faye Warf.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Danny and Hilda Wooten of Hillsville, Virginia; Scottie and Josie Wooten; Jessie and Cindy Wooten all of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Lester Wooten, Justin Wooten, Andrew Wooten, Jarod Wooten and Tina Alley; five great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Sam Holder officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Quaker Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:30 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
