Cora Ellen Cole's Obituary
Cora Ellen Cole age 98 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 in Nottingham, Pennsylvania at the home of her niece.
Mrs. Cole was born in Hemlock, North Carolina (Ashe County) on March 6, 1920 to John and Flora McCoy Mayberry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Glen Cole; a baby sister, and brothers Burley, Brad, Sam, Roy and Lon Mayberry.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law Geneva Shaw of Galax, Virginia.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Dr. Ronny Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
