Connie Lou Osborne age 46 of Fries, Virginia passed away Monday, January 10, 2011 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Connie was born on March 17, 1964 in Galax, Virginia to Jack and Ella Mae Gravley Summey. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by a sister Cora Swinney and a brother Dicky Lee.

In addition to her father Jack Summey of Fries, Virginia Connie is survived by her husband David Osborne; sons Brandon Osborne and Shane Osborne all of Fries, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Jessica and Matthew Sutherland of Elk Creek, Virginia; grandson Connor Sutherland; sisters and brothers-in-law Jackie and Pete Stanley; Mary and Charlie Clyburn all of Fries, Virginia; Carol and Tony Crowder of Galax, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Harold and Regina Summey of Fries, Virginia; brother-in-law Junior Swinney of Fries, Virginia;several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Fries Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Rick Watson and Rev. Jerry Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Stevens Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until eight at the Fries Church of God of Prophecy Church.
