Colleen Bonnie Leagans age 64 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.
Colleen was born on June 24, 1950 in Grayson County, Virginia to Vernell Bond.
She is survived by her husband Jeffrey Leagans of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Ricky and Melinda Faye Bobbitt of Woodlawn, Virginia; sister Geneva Walker of Fries, Virginia; two brothers Danny Bond and Tony Bond both of Fries, Virginia; two grandchildren Michael Bobbitt and Steven Bobbitt; several nephews, also, survive.
The funeral service will be held Friday, February 20, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. John Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
