Collan Lee Lineberry, 70, of Galax passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA. He was born August 19, 1941 in Virginia to Artha Lineberry and Richard Linville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Lee Lineberry.

He is survived by three daughters: Tammy McMillian and Joyce Nelson both of Hillsville, Machael McFarland of Tazewell, Virginia; one son Michael Lineberry of Pocahontas, VA; wife Joyce Lineberry of Hillsville, grandchildren: Eric Lineberry, Paige Hollar, Annalee Nicole Hollar, Haley Lineberry, Matthew Nelson, and Conner McFarland. Also surviving are three sisters Nellie Gay Linville, Dobson, NC; Corrina Seacreist and Lois Crotts both of Mt. Airy, NC; one brother Ardell Linville of Mt. Airy, NC and special Friend Phyllis Lowe.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 28, 2011 at 3:30 PM at the Oakland Cemetery with Pastor Ronnie Harrison officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 o'clock until 3 prior to the service at the funeral home.
