Cody Lee Goad age 24 of Hillsville, Va. passed away Monday, April 19, 2010 at Twin County Regional Hospital.
Cody was born on October 20, 1985 in Galax, Va. to Buddy & Gloria Walters Goad.
He is survived by his wife Heather Goad; daughter Jassie Goad both of Hillsville, Va.; parents Buddy & Bobbi Goad of Willis, Va.; sisters Joyce Surratt; Melissa Surratt both of Galax, Va.; brother Troy Goad of Pocahontas, Va.; grandmother Lola South of Galax, Va.; foster brothers Gary Goad of Galax, Va; Dannie Sidwell of Ohio;
uncle June Surratt; niece Sissy; nephews Matthew Bowman; Ian Ashworth and A.J. Ashworth.
The funeral service will be held Friday, April 23, 2010 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Bobby Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
