Clyde W. Melton age 67 of Galax, Va. passed away Sunday November 12, 2006 at his home. He was born in Carroll County, Va. on June 14, 1939 to the late Alvin & Ethel Leonard Melton. He is survived by his wife Anna Mae Melton of Galax, Va.; sons & daughters-in-law Ronnie Wayne & Carol Melton of Pleasant Garden, N.C.; Jimmy & Amanda Melton of Greensboro, N.C. Ricky Allen Melton of Galax, Va.; brothers Howard Melton of Woodlawn, Va.; Whitt Melton of Galax, Va.; two grandsons and several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Thursday November 16, 2006 at 2:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ted Bartlett and Rev. Gene Hill officiating. Burial will follow in McKenzie Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to the family.
