Clyde Elmo Jones, 64, of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in the Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC. Mr. Jones was born April 16, 1952 in Pulaski, Virginia to the late Bervy Jones and Annie Blanche Frost Jones.

Mr. Jones proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife Louise V. Jones of the home; daughter Tammy Edmonds of Galax; son and daughter-in-law James and Julie Jones of Cana, Virginia; grandchildren Jasmine Walker, Steven Edmonds, Brandon Edmonds, Corey Jones and Stasha Shiflett; one great grandson Noah Shiflett; brother and sister-in-law: Edgar and Pauline Jones of Galax; brother-in-law: Junior Price of Galax; a nephew Butch Dixon.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 4:30 PM in the Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. James Cowley officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Grover King VFW Post 1115.
