Clinton Muncy Vaughan's Obituary
Clinton Muncy Vaughan age 82 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, February 22, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Vaughan was born in Grayson County, Virginia on December 24, 1930 to Radley and Sally Patton Vaughan. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Addie Bobbitt.
He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law Lynn Ball and Vickie Lineberry both of Galax, Virginia; Delana and J.R. Hensley of Woodlawn, Virginia; son Jeffery Vaughan of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brother-in-law Ilene Widner of Independence, Virginia; Juanita Sutphin and Magdalene Crowder both of Galax, Virginia; Ann and Larry Bobbitt of Independence, Virginia; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Woynal Smythers officiating. Burial will follow in the Fries Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the funeral home.
