Clifton Leon Haga age 91 of Jonesborough, Tennessee passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 in the Lakebridge Healthcare in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Mr. Haga was born in Fries, Virginia on May 25, 1927 to Ben and Beulah Jones Haga.

He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife Mildred Haga; daughter and son-in-law Shiryll and Tom Edmonds all of Jonesborough, Tennessee ; two grandchildren and spouses Christopher and Michelle Durham of Jonesborough, Tennessee; Casey and Holly Durham of Kingsport, Tennessee; seven great-grandchildren Canyon Durham; Forest Durham; Calem Durham; Fiona Durham; Joe Gunther; Katelyn Gunther and Riley Gunther;  brother and sister- in-law Ben and Vicki Haga of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; his loyal companion Dee Dee.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Ben Haga officiating. Burial will follow in the Fries Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Grace Baptist Church.
