Clifford Allen Lineberry, age 89, Fries, VA, died at his home Saturday, Nov 21, 2015.
Mr. Lineberry was born Aug. 21, 1926 in Alleghany County, NC to Oscar & Esther Sidden Lineberry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Conard, Alvin, Paul & Claston Lineberry and daughter-in-law, Sharon Lineberry.
He is survived by his wife, Melba Burcham Lineberry, Fries, VA; son & daughter-in-law, Douglas Wayne Lineberry and Pam Goins, Boonville, NC; daughter & son-in-law, Debbie & Billy Lanter, Fries, VA; grandsons & wives, Doug & Heather Lanter, Hillsvile, VA, Brandon & Amy Lanter, Max Meadows, VA; great grandchildren, Andy and Abby Lanter, Max Meadows, VA; Keegan Lanter, Hillsville, VA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Calvin & Nellie Lineberry, Lexington, NC, Guy & Margaret Lineberry, Kernersville, NC, Dewey & Wanda Lineberry, Elk Creek, VA. Larry & Chiyoko Lineberry, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Everett Lineberry, Winston Salem, NC; sisters, Lois Baine, Winston Salem, NC, Eunice Watson. Kernersville. NC, Michele Carter, Pine Hall, NC.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015 in the Cliffview Church of God at 2:00 PM. The body will lie in state one hour preceding the funeral service. Burial will follow in the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, Nov. 23, 2015 at the Cliffview Church of God. Officiating ministers will be the Rev. D.G. Fox and speaker, Benji Lineberry.
