Cleve Sawyers age 83 of Low Gap, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 at this home.

Mr. Sawyers was born in Galax, Virginia on July 20, 1942. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Sawyers.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Denise and Wayne Ramey of Low Gap, North Carolina; stepson and wife Kenneth and Kathleen Combs of Galax, Virginia; five grandchildren and spouses Schyler and Carrie Ramey; Vanessa and Morlai Lawson; Josh and Taylor Combs; Jordon Combs; Kevin and Ashley Leonard; twelve great-grandchildren; Cousin Mike Vaughan.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 3:00 PM in the Fairview Church with Pastor Sam Holder officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 PM until time for the funeral service at Fairview Church.
