Clayton Andrew Bell, 85, passed away Friday, October 3, 2014. He was born in Ivanhoe, Virginia on April 5, 1929 to the late Lois Winsett Bell and Roy Dale Bell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dollie May Bell.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Debra and James M. Dunford of Fries, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses: Michael and Pam Dunford ; Misty and Thomas Hannah all of Independence, Virginia; sister Doris Gravely of Lenoir, North Carolina; four great grandchildren: Hunter Dunford, Colton Dunford, Cody Hannah and Cheyenne Hannah.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Claude Holderfield officiating. Interment will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Grover King VFW Post 1115. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 o'clock until 8 at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
