Claude Robin Whittington age 74 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in the Golden Living Health & Rehab Center.
Mr. Whittington was born on November 4, 1941 in Carroll County, Virginia to James Noel and Carrie Shockley Whittington.
He is survived by his wife Shirley M. Whittington of Woodlawn, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law James R. (Jimmy) and Amanda Whittington of Woodlawn, Virginia; grandchildren Jasmyn Whittington; Cameron Whittington and Alexia Whittington.
The funeral service will be held Friday, August 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Woodlawn United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dina Clower and the Rev. Gloria Lancaster Rhudy officiating. Burial will follow in the
Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
