Clarence Edgar Price age 69 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday,June 19, 2011 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Mr. Price was born in Grayson County, Virginia on April 14, 1942 to Charlie and Lavona Creed Price.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Thomason Price of Galax, Virginia; daughter and fiance' Teresa Burcham and Jerry Burchette of Galax, Virginia; sons and fiancees' Randy Price and Sheila Hodge of Fries, Virginia; Ronnie Price and Pam Waller of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Shane; Matthew; Ronnie, Jr. and Heather; great-grandchildren Landon and Aaron; sisters and brother-in-law Mary Choate of Galax, Virginia; Frances and Harley Felts of Fancy Gap, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Richard and Ann Price; Roger and Bernice Price all of Low Gap, North Carolina; Ray Price of Sparta, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; specail friends Jesse "Pee Wee" Caudill; Morgan Padgett and Gaylene Holdaway.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Fishers Gap Cemetery with Rev.Jimmy Linville officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. Friends may also call anytime at the home of Randy Price and Sheila Hodge 9 Cattle Drive Fries, Virginia.
