Clara Virginia Shupe's Obituary
Clara Virginia Shupe, age 84, of Galax, VA died Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax, VA.
Mrs. Shupe was born in Fries, VA. May 26, 1926 to Dwight and Emma Norman Anders. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Arvin Shupe; sisters, Ardith Gravley, Sylvia Shinault, brothers, Kelly Anders, Clinard Anders.
She is survived by one son, Jerry E. Shupe, Baltimore, MD; grandsons, Jerry Shupe and John Shupe; sister, Faye Isenhour, Hudson, NC; several nieces & nephews; caregiver, Judy Yelton.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fries, VA at 2:00 PM. Officiating minister will be the Rev. Bobby Shinault. There will be no visitation.
