Clara Mae Moxley better known as Polly Moxley age 84 of Ennice, North Carolina passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 in the Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin, North Carolina.

Mrs. Moxley was born in Alleghany County, North Carolina on December 16, 1934 to John Handy and Bessie Alma Murphy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Stanley Moxley, son Billy Vance Jones, and sister Anna Rose (Annie) Smith.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Edgar Alan and Sylvia Jones; grandson and wife David Brian and Paula Jones all of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; two great-grandchildren Bret Austin Jones (Courtney) and Caleb Isaia Hall; one niece and one nephew.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM in the Saddle Mountain Primitive Baptist Church with Preacher Bill Spurlin and Elder Russ Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the church. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations made to the Saddle Mountain Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 2221 Saddle Mountain Road, Ennice, North Carolina 28623 or to the Mt.
