Clara Bell Felts' Obituary
Clara Bell Frost Felts, widow of Charlie Felts, age 82, died Saturday January 24, 2009 at Fries, VA.
Mrs. Felts was born in Grayson County, VA on March 5, 1926 to Lemual and Betty Brewer Frost.
She is survived by daughters & sons-in-law: Betty & Hobert Akers, Fries, VA, Lena & Don Cole, Pulaski, Virginia "Kay" & John Rutherford, Fries, VA and Clara Jane Hiatt, Galax, VA; sons & daughters-in-law; Curt & Christine Summey, Jonesville, NC, David & Sharon Felts, James & Sharon Felts of Galax and Jack Summey of Fries, VA: Sisters, Cora Linville, Galax, & Hulda Holter of Maryland; 27 grandchildren, fifty three great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. Several nieces & nephews also survive. Mrs. Felts was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Lela Ann Richardson and great-great granddaughter, Amber Marie Clyburn.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009 at the Fries Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Rick Watson and the Rev. Jeffrey Clyburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Stevens Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, Jan. 26, 2009.
