Clara Lee Bobbitt's Obituary
Clara Lee Bobbitt, 84, of Galax passed away Friday, April 2, 2010 at the Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax. Mrs. Bobbitt was born June 11, 1925 in Carroll County, Virginia to Andy Roberts & Callie Lineberry Roberts.
Mrs. Bobbitt is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Sharon & Horace Leonard, Jr. of Fries; Judy & Franklin Liddle of Galax; four sisters Grace Cole and Ruby Russell both of Galax, Ethel Foster &Pauline Jones both of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; one brother Sidney Roberts of Woodlawn. Nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews also survive. Mrs. Liddle was preceded in death by her husband John M. Bobbitt, a son Bill Bobbitt and grandson Chris Liddle.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 4, 2010 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Sammy Burnette Billy Burnette officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2PM until time for the service. Interment will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Twin County Hospice, P O Box 106, Galax, VA 24333.
