Cynthia Louise Carrico Roberts age 57 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 in the Montgomery Lewis-Gale Regional Hospital in Blacksburg, Virginia.

Cindy was born in Emporia (Richmond) Virginia on August 15, 1963 to Richard Dean and Frances Louise Rakes Carrico. (Her father preceded her in death)

She is survived by her husband Rodney Roberts of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Allison and Jacob Shockley of Hillsville, Virginia; son Jacob Roberts of Galax, Virginia; mother Frankee Carrico of Woodlawn, Virginia; two grandchildren Thomas Shockley and Emmalynn Shockley; mother-in-law Diana Roberts; sister-in-law and husband Kim and Allen Rosenbaum of Galax, Virginia; several nephews.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 6:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Kevin Carlan officiating There will be no visitation at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to either the Galax Fire Department or the Pipers Gap Rescue Squad.

Due to the CDC recommendations mask and social distancing will be required at the service
