Christine Luella Hampton age 62 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Christine was born on September 9, 1948 in Grayson County, Virginia to Ralph Everett and Lillie Mae McMillian Kyle.
In addition to her father Ralph Everett Kyle of Galax, Va. she is survived by her husband Ellis Hampton of Greensboro, N.C.; daughter and son-in-law Angela and Jefferson Daniels of Galax, Va.; sons Ellis Hampton, Jr.; Marvin Hampton and Eugene Scott Hampton all of Galax, Va.; sisters and brother-in-law Linda Mae Cottrell of Galax, Va.; Anna and Richard Tyree of Prince George, Va.; Shalva Braxton of Petersburg, Va.; brothers and sister-in-law Ralph Stanley and Margie Kyle of Ennice, N.C.; William Kyle of Galax, Va.; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday, March 25, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Goins Cemetery with Rev. Raymond Brown, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from seven until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
